Rena Sofer is an American actress, best known for her roles in television. She gained significant recognition for her portrayal of Lois Cerullo on the soap opera General Hospital (1993-1997), a role for which she won a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series in 1995. After her success on General Hospital, Sofer went on to appear in numerous other television series, including Melrose Place, Seinfeld, and Friends. She had recurring roles in Heroes and 24.
Another notable role for Sofer was as Quinn Fuller on the CBS soap opera The Bold and the Beautiful, a role she played from 2013 to 2022.
Sofer has also worked in film, appearing in movies like Keeping the Faith and Traffic. She is of Ashkenazi Jewish descent.
She has been married twice: first to actor Wally Kurth (with whom she has a daughter) and currently to Sanford Bookstaver.
